I received my Bachelors of Social Work from Grand View University and Masters of Social Work from the University of Kentucky. In addition, I am a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). Serving clients from both Iowa and Nebraska, I use a variety of techniques selected based on your specific issues, needs, and situation. I truly believe that everyone is doing the best they can, but sometimes we need help overcoming mental and emotional challenges. You are the expert of your own life. I am dedicated to walking alongside you in order to help you build the skills and resilience needed to navigate life’s challenges. I primarily work with individuals ages 16 and older, as well as couples, navigating concerns including addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, relational distress, life transitions, and other mood-related issues. I also maintain a dedicated focus on serving Law Enforcement, Military Personnel, Veterans, First Responders, and their family members.

As a U.S. Army combat veteran, I understand the unique challenges, occupational culture, and help-seeking stigma that service members and first responders face. Whether new to the field or years into service, you may find that traumatic incidents and high-stress environments impact your personal and/or professional well-being. I am prepared to help those who serve their country and communities process these experiences, build resilience, and continue their commitment to service.
